In an event that was graced on 24 May 2023, Sony Play-station makes Six of it’s notable announcements. This comes as the world witnesses great scientific and technological advances everyday coinciding with the era of generation Z. For those who might have missed the entire expo on their
online streaming platforms here are the six announcements.
Resident evil 4 VR mode introduced
Major part of the event revolved focused on resident evil. It will undergo a major renovation that
would boost it this year. It also include introduction of a VR mode for PSVR 2 games. The game
developers stated that the VR mode is still under development therefore an official release date
was not mentioned. This is a big thing for gamers.
Bungile returns to the field
Now Bungile, game development company that has been known for Destiny Halo is working hand in
hand with play-station creatives to develop a sci-fi shoot out game. The game known as Marathon is
claimed to be available on cross-platforms including Xbox and PC and also PlayStations.
Remote play and wireless headset with project Q
Project Q is a portable device being developed by Sony with an 8-inch screen designed for remote playing of PS5 games. This would resemble a fragmented Nintendo switch with dual-sense controller. In addition Sony has introduced its first official wireless headsets which can be
used both in PS5 and PC.
Metal gear 3 re-make version is coming
Earlier Konami had announced that they are developing a remake version of
metal gear 3-snake eater which was originally released in 2004. The action well stimulated game
aims to stay faithful to the original storyline and dialogues. However the release date is yet to be
announced.
Release date announced for spider man 2
During the event, Sony released an extended trailer for Spider-Man 2. The new game of marvel’s spider
man series. They announced that the game would launch in the falls of 2023. However they didn’t mention the release date.
Release date announced for assassins creed
12 October 2023 is the date that assassin’s Creed mirage would be released. This action game would be
available on PS4/5, Xbox and PC. Pre-orders already started on ubisoft’s official website.
