SGA Security Kenya has been recognized for its leadership in social sustainability after winning the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Champion Award at the Kenya ESG Awards.
The honor, presented during the third edition of the awards, recognizes organizations that are embedding Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) principles into their operations in measurable and impactful ways.
The company has introduced deliberate policies aimed at creating opportunities for women to enter the security industry and advance in their careers.
“Our approach to inclusion goes beyond representation. We are focused on building systems and policies that support equity, safety, and long-term career growth for our workforce. This includes flexible work arrangements designed to support working mothers, a zero-tolerance framework on harassment and discrimination, and structured leadership development programs tailored to female personnel. By embedding these measures into our organizational culture, inclusion is treated not as an initiative, but as a core business practice,” said Josephine Wanjiru.
