The African School of Governance (ASG) has concluded its groundbreaking presidential tour across five African capitals, making a resounding entrance into the continent’s education and public policy space.
A Tour Across Africa’s Power Hubs
With stops in Nairobi, Lagos, Cairo, Maputo, and Abidjan, the ASG delegation embarked on a mission to reimagine leadership development. The tour’s goal: catalyze economic transformation by strengthening Africa’s leadership capacity through policy innovation and inclusive education.
At the helm of the tour was ASG President Professor Kingsley Moghalu, former deputy governor of Nigeria’s Central Bank. A respected economist and thought leader, Moghalu championed the message of self-sustained, African-driven leadership reform.
“In ten years, the question won’t be what you studied or where,” he told delegates in Nairobi. “It will be; did you join ASG?”
Forging Global Partnerships for African Excellence
ASG has partnered with global heavyweights such as the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy at the National University of Singapore to become Africa’s top-tier institution for public leadership. These collaborations are designed to bridge global standards with African realities.
A Flagship MPA Program Rooted in Africa
Launching this September, ASG’s Master of Public Administration (MPA) targets professionals aged 25 to 50 across government, business, and civil society. Unlike traditional programs, ASG’s MPA is tailored to Africa’s political, economic, and social context.
