The government is committed in boosting human resources for health (HRH) as a cornerstone of universal health coverage.

Principal secretary for Public Health and professional Standards Mary Muthoni today visited KMTC Embu Campus, part of an ongoing fact-finding mission to access training and identify potential gaps.

However the government Objective is to ensure Kenya possess a well – trained , adequately equipped HRH workforce which meet local demands hence competing globally.

The government is actively expanding the spectrum of crucial courses offered at medical colleges.

“This initiative aligns with the broader digitalization agenda, aiming to revolutionize the learning experience across all campuses,” Ps Mary stated.

Through this approach the government will elevate the quality of education equipping HRH professionals to tackle the ever- evolving healthcare challenges of the 21st century.
