Laikipia county to boost enforcement team for Environment

County Government of Laikipia CECM Administration, ICT, Coordination and Public Service, Ms. Purity Kendi,on Thursday held an interactive meeting with the County Enforcement team aiming for conducive work environment at the Nanyuki County Hall.

The meeting engaged the enforcement officers from Laikipia East and Laikipia North.

However,the officers expressed their gratitude to the county government leadership for the continued support and good working environment while also airing the challenges they have been facing in their line of duty.

CEC Kendi assured the officers that the government will put policies in place to address challenges they have been experiencing.

“We are committed to ensuring that every employee of the county has a conducive environment in their work stations,” the CEC said.

Chief Officer Adminstration, Mr. Mike Kemboi, advocated for professionalism, integrity and dedication of the officers in their respective stations.

The County Enforcement Superintendent, Mr. Eston Nyaga, acknowledged the continuous support that the government has accorded the team.

A similar meeting will be held in Laikipia West to engage the officers in the Sub County.

Director Administration Mr. Charles Muiruri and Laikipia East Inspector Mr. Paul Kiprop were also present.
