Stanley Wilson’s ascent in football is remarkable as the young midfielder, who recently transitioned from FKF Premier League’s Kariobangi Sharks to Swedish giants AIK, sets his sights on making history.
At just 18, Wilson’s career took a major leap when he traveled to Sweden in January for trials with AIK, where his impressive performance earned him a spot on the team for a reported USD 200,000 (approx. Sh25.8 million).
“I’m thrilled to sign with AIK; it’s a dream come true,” Wilson said, expressing his excitement for this new chapter in his career.
Despite facing challenges, particularly adapting to the harsh European winter, Wilson persevered and used the experience to fuel his determination.
“The European weather was tough, but I adapted by focusing on training and avoiding the extreme cold,” he shared.

His rapid rise in football, from joining Kariobangi Sharks last season after playing as a schoolboy for Darajani Gogo to now being part of AIK, is a testament to his talent and dedication.
“My goal is to become one of the best signings AIK has ever made and to help the club achieve greatness,” Wilson said.
He is now focused on contributing to AIK’s success and dreams of winning trophies with the team.
“With the talent in our squad, I believe we can achieve something remarkable together,” he concluded.
