President William Ruto has assured that the government will boost the digitalization of all women, youth, boda boda groups in their operations by january next year.

Addressing the Joyful Women on their 41st anniversary in Kasarani, Nairobi, the president promised that the government will use its money to fund these groups and enable them to upgrade their technology capacity.

“We will use the government’s money to help the groups so that we may include place you in a digital platforms,” the president said.

“It will also apply to women working in the market together with the youths, and boda boda operators who have these groups will also benefit,” he added.

The president further assured that the groups will receive both the hustler fund and women’s enterprise fund from the government to propel their operations.

He further assured that the government will double the group’s resources depending on the amount of savings that they have saved.

“ You shall not only use your group savings but you will further get to benefit from both the hustler fund and the the women’s enterprise fund. If you have already saved 100000 as a group, the government will add you another 100000 on top,” the president assured.
