Every individual in the county is set to plant at least 100 trees annually between 2022 and 2032. This will see every homestead in the county grow a diverse range of trees, including indigenous, non-indigenous, and fruit varieties.

Taita Taveta residents have further been encouraged to register with the Jaza Miti App, an innovative software that allows individuals to record each tree they plant, contributing to an accurate record of the community’s tree-planting achievement.
