U.S. President Donald Trump has issued a fiery statement asserting the strength of the American economy while blaming past leaders for allowing foreign nations.
Trump particularly blasted China, for taking advantage of the United States through trade imbalances and high tariffs.
Through a post he made on his X handle one Monday, Trump claimed that key economic indicators, including oil, interest, and food prices, are down, and dismissed concerns over inflation.
“Oil prices are down, interest rates are down (the slow moving Fed should cut rates!, food prices are down, there is NO INFLATION,” he said,
Trump took direct aim at China, accusing it of being “the biggest abuser of them all.”
“The long time abused USA is bringing in Billions of Dollars a week from the abusing countries on Tariffs that are already in place,” Trump asserted.

He criticized Beijing for recently hiking tariffs by 34 percent a move he says defies his prior warnings against retaliatory trade actions.
He also pointed fingers at previous U.S. administrations, blaming them for allowing the situation to escalate.
Our past ‘leaders’ are to blame for allowing this, and so much else, to happen to our Country,” Trump said.
