The Pentecostal church has urged the president to shed light on his stand on LGBTQ, further condemning the proposed bill in parliament that aims to decriminalize sex work and workers.

The church has erupted it’s fury over the recurrent silence from President Ruto, every time the church raises alarm on the LGBTQ issue.

It has further stressed that the president should be clear on his stance on the issue, just like his predecessor.

Further, it has cautioned that if the issue is not acted upon, it will significantly destroy the youths and the coming generations.

“Just like the former president Uhuru Kenyatta, we want the current government to come out clearly and declare their stance on the issue of LGBTQ since the issue will destroy our generations and the youths,” said Hudson Ndeda, National chairman, of church and clergy association of Kenya.

The church has strongly condemned and has urged that the passing of the bill will greatly propel moral decadence to the youths and has urged the president to speak out and put a stop to the “madness”, urging that the country should be more focused on issues about hunger, health, and sanitization.

“The church is aware with consternation and awe that a bill has been introduced in parliament with the aim of decriminalizing prostitution. Why would we even have such conversations our country yet people are dying for lack of food, water, health, and sanitization?,” added bishop Hudson.
