Real Madrid have agreed a deal worth an initial €100m plus bonuses for Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham. With the transfer set to be made official following the conclusion of the Bundesliga season according to Spanish media Marca.
Also heading to Real Madrid could be Tottenham striker Harry Kane whose contract will end next year June. Los Blancos have been offered the chance to sign the Englishman in a player-plus-cash deal which would see Eden Hazard move in the opposite direction as reported by Cadena SER.
Los Blancos hope to wrap up their move for the 19-year-old England midfielder this week following the end of the Bundesliga season. He has been offered a six-year deal with Real agreeing to pay the German side between £1.75m and £3.5m a season in extras over the course of the contract. Those sums will depend on the Spanish side’s league and cup performances in each campaign, and the number of games Bellingham plays and the goals he score.
Spanish sources suggest he will start his career in Madrid on a weekly wage that falls well short of their highest-paid players but the increases in 2025 and 2026 will put him well amongst them. The Spanish giants have been hoping to land Bellingham for a basic fee of £85m but Dortmund insist that is not enough. Bellingham was named as the Bundesliga player of the season yesterday after scoring eight goals and providing five assists in 31 league appearances.
