PS Bitok Urges ID Applicants to Collect their Maisha Cards

Immigration PS Julius Bitok has urged Kenyans who applied for Maisha Cards to immidiately collect them from their application centres.

According to a statement by PS Bitok, 476, 167 ID cards still lay uncollected at NRB and various Huduma centers while the department Urges the applicants who haven’t collected their ID Card to so immediately.

Bitok further said that said in the past 14 days, National Registration Bureau(NRB) has printed a total of 505,197 ID cards both new and duplicate, while 1,358 still in the process queue.

“Fellow Kenyans, Thousands of Maisha cards remain uncollected at our national registration Bureau(NRB) offices and Huduma centers across the country, kindly visit your application center today and pick up your card.” Julius Bitok wrote on X.

The statement shows a total of 224,445 uncollected Maisha cards from top ten 10 counties with highest number of uncollected ID cards.

The Counties include, Nairobi 55,327i, Kiambu 37,708, Nakuru 28,581, Kisumu 18,529, kajiado12,533, Mombasa 17,140, Kisii 15,842, Muranga 13,627, Uasin Gishu 13,155, bungoma12,053.
