Interior Cabinet Secretary Kithure Kindiki has warned infiltrators of the ongoing anti-government protests, that the government will deal will deal with them.
Kindiki said that the peaceful protests have been infiltrated by criminals posing danger to Kenyans and causing destruction of properties across the country.
“Notwithstanding the termination of the Bill, hordes of marauding criminal gangs continue to pose a grave danger to the public, riding on announced plans for peaceful protests to disturb public order, commit arson, obstruct public transport and terrorise the people of Kenya with violence,” Kindiki said.

The CS stated that the government will deal with criminals gangs whom he says are seeking to politicize the demonstration. “The Government is determined to stop criminals aiming to terrorise the public and harm Kenya, notwithstanding attempts to politicise crime,” he said.
He further assured the public that planners and financiers of the criminals masquerading as protesters will be brought to book after evidence analysis is concluded.
“Upon completion of the ongoing evidential analysis, the government assures the public that the planners, executors and financiers of large-scale arson, violent robberies and other felonious crimes will be brought to justice,” the CS said.
