David Sudi Calls Out Political Parties For Using Idol Symbols

Former Marakwet West Member of Parliament David Sudi has called out political parties for using “idol” symbols.

According to Sudi, political parties in Kenya are using symbols that go against the will of God.

Speaking to journalist at The New Democrats party headquarters in Nairobi, Sudi pointed out to UDA and KANU parties which has a symbol of a Wheelbarrow and Cockerel respectively.

“Symbols of political parties are idols in Kenya. From Cockerel (KANU) to Wheelbarrow (UDA) are idols,” The New Democrats party leader said.

He called upon President William Ruto to take over The New Democrats party whose symbols is a bridge, adding that his party is the party that will take Kenyans to ‘Canaan’.

“I am inviting Ruto to take over the leadership of The New Democrats party {whose symbol} is a bridge so that he can take Kenyans to Canaan,” Sudi said.

The New Democrats part has four elected Members of County Assembly (MCAs) and one Member of Parliament.

Fertiliser Scandal

While commenting on the fake fertiliser scandal, the former legislator told president Ruto to sack all government officials who were involved in the saga.

He said the scandal is tarnishing Ruto’s government.

“The ministry which is responsible for this fake fertilizer should resign because they have failed the president. Mr President, sack them if they refuse to resign because they are giving us a very bad name,” Sudi said.
