Capital A Investment Bank, formerly known as Securities Africa Kenya Limited, has officially launched a new brand identity.

This announcement follows the firm’s recent transition from a licensed stockbroker to a fully-fledged investment bank, approved by the Capital Markets Authority (CMA).

The new identity reflects the bank’s expanded capabilities and its steadfast commitment to providing exceptional investment solutions.

As a regulated entity under the CMA and an authorized trading participant at the Nairobi Securities Exchange (NSE), Capital A specializes in tailored investment advice across various financial instruments, including bonds, equities, Eurobonds, and corporate finance.

Chairman Norris Kibe expressed pride in the firm’s new direction, stating, “This rebranding marks a significant milestone in our journey. We reaffirm our commitment to innovation and delivering unparalleled financial services.”

Kibe also emphasized the bank’s dedication to creating opportunities for diaspora investors interested in engaging with Kenya’s capital markets, asserting that this milestone signifies a renewed focus on fostering positive change within the financial landscape.

Frank Mwiti, CEO of the Nairobi Securities Exchange, praised the rebranding, noting its potential to enhance the depth and liquidity of the market. “Capital A’s leadership and commitment to innovation will play a crucial role in the growth of the Kenyan capital market,” he stated.

The CMA’s Director of Market Operations, Daniel Warutere, echoed these sentiments, commending Capital A for its upgrade and commitment to excellence in financial services.

Capital A is eager to explore new opportunities in diaspora remittances, impact financing, green financing, and Islamic finance, reinforcing its role in advancing the Kenyan financial services sector.
