Police are investigating the death of a man found hanging from a tree at the Donholm roundabout in Nairobi, suspected to be a suicide.
The body was discovered on Thursday morning and authorities have not ruled out foul play, considering the possibility that the man may have been killed and then hanged to simulate a suicide.
The body has been transported to the mortuary as investigations continue. The incident drew a crowd, who watched from a distance as police struggled to remove the body, which had a rope around the neck.
The rise in suicide cases has prompted calls for action, with police reporting at least one incident daily.
