Nairobi March 5 – Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has said that Mount Kenya region has a formula that keeps them in government forever.

Speaking in Laikipia, Gachagua said that the region should unite behind president William Ruto, and to do it, the community “must unite”.

“We want to unite our people behind [William] Ruto and also cement our relevance in the national political discourse,” he said.

He added, “And since this region found the formula of being relevant, we have remained in government to date by casting our vote as a region in total and that has given us an opportunity to either lead the government or to be part of the government.”

The former Mathira legislator said that the region must make sure that “the region remains in government forever.”
