Direct Flights to Riyadh from Nairobi Launch Soon with Low Fares

Saudi low-cost carrier Flynas will launch three weekly direct flights between Riyadh and Nairobi from October 2, 2025, marking its latest expansion into Africa.

The move aligns with the airline’s expansion strategy as well as Saudi Arabia’s broader national agenda to boost connectivity in tourism and aviation.

“This connection reinforces our commitment to making travel more accessible and affordable. It supports Kenya’s tourism economy, creates cross-border commercial opportunities,” said Waleed Alahmed, Director of Corporate Communications at Flynas.

The new route positions Nairobi as a key gateway between East Africa and the Middle East, facilitating increased travel for tourism, trade, and religious purposes.

Kenyan travelers will gain easier access to Saudi Arabia for leisure, business and pilgrimage, while the flights are also expected to encourage inbound investment and tourism from the Kingdom.

With the addition of Nairobi, flynas now serves four African destinations, joining Addis Ababa, Entebbe, and Djibouti.
