TikTok has partnered with Wowzi and Aleph Holding to tap into content marketing and expand its reach in Kenya.

The partnership will enable creators earning income by endorsing brands. With the help of Wowzi, creators will be able to connect with brands and seamlessly market brands to their social network.

“There is so much incredible creative talent emerging from Kenya, and TikTok provides a unique platform for these creators to express themselves, connect with the local community, and reach audiences around the globe. Our partnership will open even more doors and provide valuable opportunities for creators to thrive on the platform,” said Mike Otieno, Co-founder and President of Wowzi.

TikTok says this transition will streamline the ad-buying process and enhance brand engagement on the platform.

TikTok has reaffirmed its commitment to Kenya’s digital economy through strategic partnerships aimed at empowering local businesses and content creators.

“We are incredibly proud of our vibrant and rapidly growing community in Kenya,” said Carl Jordan, Head of Sales, Global Business Solutions, TikTok – Sub Saharan Africa.

“Our partnerships with Aleph and Wowzi reflect our deep commitment to strengthening the local creative ecosystem and driving economic growth. These collaborations not only empower Kenyan advertisers with unmatched access to cutting-edge digital ad formats and tailored local support, but also open new doors for the immensely talented local creators to thrive and expand their presence on the platform.”

TikTok emphasized that these partnerships underscore its commitment to nurturing local talent and businesses, positioning Kenya as a key player in the global digital economy.
