President William Ruto is set to launch more infrastructural projects in his planned Four-day development tour Nyanza region in Migori, Homabay, Siaya and Kisumu respectively.

This happens weeks after nominating Cabinet secretary from the Orange Democratic Movement(ODM) party which has much influence in the region.

Ruto has Emphasized on the importance of peace and unity among Kenyans prior his visit, this tour is majorly a way to offer reconciliation and garner support from the region which has been holding a strong opposition for ages after he has endorsed Raila for AUC candidacy.

This development tour is meant to achieve his goals of the Bottom-up Economic Transformation Agenda(BETA) to boost agriculture, infrastructure, health and education in Nyanza region.

The Nyanza tour schedule includes launching of the Kegonga Cluster Water Project in Migori county, Inspection of the Lower Kuja Irrigation Project in Nyatike, Inauguration of the Ngere-Mapera Road which marks as the first day visit.

Further, Second visit in Homabay county Ruto is set to Commission the Oyugis Water Project, Inspect the Homabay Fish Market, Launch the Rusinga Ring Road and attend a Thanksgiving Ceremony for Treasury Cabinet Secretary John Mbadi in his home.

Additionally, in Siaya county, Ruto is set to Commission Mageta Island Solar Project in sakwa Bondo, Launch the Siaya Economic Stimulus Programme Market in Alego Usonga, Inaugurate the Siaya Rice Mill Project and Thanksgiving Service for Energy Cabinet Secretary Opiyo Wandayi in Ugunja.

Finally, in Kisumu county, Ruto will commission the Kisumu Marine School in the port area, Visit to the Lake Basin Development Authority Rice Mill in Kisumu east, Inspect the Lumumba Affordable Housing Project and Launch the Nyabondo Trauma Centre in Nyakach constituency.
