The construction of county aggregation and industrial parks will open industrial modern capability of counties within the country. President William Ruto said the program will widen valuable open doors for Kenyans and lift economic development.

The President was speaking on Friday during the ground breaking ceremony of the Nyamira county aggregation and Modern Park. “This project will create over 50,000 jobs and reduce poverty in this region,” he said.

“This facility will offer cold storage and value addition facilities for bananas, avocado, coffee and vegetables to help farmers maximize their earnings,” he added.

Prior, at Nyansiongo, Nyamira county President Ruto assessed the development of the Nyansiongo present day Market. He said that the extension bring more sellers to the market because they will get spaces to do their businesses.

“The extension and overhauling of this Market will expand the quantity of dealers leading their organizations in a favorable and secure space,” Ruto said.

He noticed the development of the market was important for the Public authority’s arrangement to construct new business sectors in Keroka, Esise, Kahawa, Kemera, Ikonge and Nyamira Town.

In Kisii, the President reviewed the continuous tarmacking of the 77-Kilometer Omoringamu-Motonto, Parainye-Tabaka, Bonyancha-Nyabisiongororo, Iyabe-Nyansara, and Sengera-Nyakoiba streets. He said the move will enabling business activities which increase incomes for families in the area.

“We have escalated our interests in framework and support to assist with extending business valuable open doors and lift family salaries,” he said.

The President charged the Mosambi-Ekerenyo Market that will upgrade farming exercises, further develop market execution and improve the conveyance of administrations to wananchi. He was joined by Cabinet Secretaries Moses Kuria (Trade) and Ezekiel Machogu (Education), Governor Amos Nyaribo (Nyamira) and other leaders.
