NAIROBI, KENYA, DEC 1 The health Cabinet Secretary Susan Nakhumicha has assured that no one will be left behind on the Universal health coverage.
The cabinet secretary has reinforced that social health authority has no limitations on anyone regardless of age or the type of disease that one has.
“In the social health authority we have no limitations, we have no exclusions, whether a child is born with a congenital disease, they will be covered under the social health authority,” she stated making her remarks at the world HIV celebration day in Meru.

The CS has emphasized that the social health authority will be affordable for citizens, where the minimum payment will be reduced from Ksh500 to Ksh300.
The social health authority is set to mend inconveniences that Kenyans encounter when using the NHIF coverage in hospitals.
“The inconveniences I have highlighted brought about the NHIF are the reasons that we have a new law under the social health authority to make sure that every Kenyan accesses health care near him or her,” the CS added.
