Morara Kebaso: Kenyans are Funding My Political Activism

Lawyer and activist Morara Kebaso now says that Kenyans have been funding his political activism of putting President William Ruto on check.

The 28-year-old lawyer who has gone viral due to his countrywide tours, where he inspects the progress of projects launched by President William Ruto, said that Kenyans of goodwill have been supporting his activities.

Speaking during an interview at Citizen Television, Morara further explained on how he is getting support from the Kenyan citizens and that as long as he remains unwavering in his purpose he is still guaranteed of the same support.

“ I am sponsored by the people of Kenya. People have been sending me money and they will continue to fund me as long as I stay steadfast “Morara Kebaso said.

Morara further say that he uses the funds sent to him by Kenyans to fuel his car and tour different regions to confirm whether the projects launched by president Ruto are ongoing or completed.

“The people of Kenya are sponsoring me, People have been sending people me Ksh.10, 50, some send Ksh.5000 from abroad and that is how I am able to fuel my vehicle and pay my research assistant,” he said.

Morara also noted that his work is ensuring that the government is doing its job terming himself the leader of opposition.

“As the leader of opposition, my job is not to praised the government. Mine is to ensure that the government is doing its job The reason why I focus much on President William Ruto is because if we didn’t have a corrupt President, 50% of corruption in government would not be there. The moment the President is corrupt, everybody gets the confidence to steal ,” Morara said.

consequently, Morara claimed out that his work has been risky, saying he has had incidences where his phone has been tracked by unknown persons whilst being trailed by unknown vehicles.

“I have had incidences where vehicles whose number plates could not be traced by the National Transport and Safety Authority hang around my house,” he asserted.
