Interior Cabinet Secretary nominee Prof Kithure Kindiki declared his net worth during his vetting by Parliamentary committee on appointments.
Kindiki’s net worth increased by a whooping Ksh150 million. Before his first appointment two years ago, Kindiki ‘s net worth was Ksh544 million and now it stands at Ksh694 million.

The former CS said that the Ksh150 million that he has amassed during his tenure as CS came from his law firm.
He further added that he has not engaged in any business with government.
“The increase in my network comes primarily from my law practice. I have not engaged in any direct business with the government or applied for any tenders directly or indirectly,” he said.

The cabinet nominees vetting began Thursday where CS and his colleagues are expected to be grilled by National Assembly Committee on Appointments.
