The Chairman of the Kenya Copyright Board (KeCoBo), Hon. Joshua Kutuny, met with chairs, Directors and CEOs of Collective Management Organizations(CMOs) to discuss the welfare of creatives in the country.
According to Hon Kutuny, the meeting aimed on improving welfare of creatives in the country.
In addition, creation of synergies between the board and CMOs to benefit creatives.
“I plan to engage creatives and all their leaders to bring them together” said Hon. Kutuny.
Further, the chairman of Music Copyright Society of Kenya (MCSK), Dr. Ezekiel Mutua, who lauded the chairman for his willingness to work and support creatives.
“We CMOs are delighted to know that the board is willing to take care of the welfare and rights of artists” Mutua said.
