Starehe based Detectives have arrested eight suspects after conducting a raid on Saturday in Huruma , Nairobi recovering narcotics drugs. The operation was initiated after members of the public reported suspicious activities in the area.

The DCI stated that, detectives recovered over 10 kilograms of bhang and 450 rolls of the same substance.
Among other items that were siezed were weighing scales, daggers and gas cylinders believed to have been stolen.
Additionally, a vehicle used to distribute the drugs in various parts of the city was impounded. The seven suspects identified as Alex Murimi, Woche Sipa, Clinton Odinga, Kevin Kimani, Mohamed Wako John Chege and Hassan Yussuf. They are now facing charges of trafficking narcotics drugs, being in possession of narcotic drugs and preparation to commit a felony.
