Bolt Introduces Awards For Best Performing Drivers

Ride hailing platform Bolt has awarded over 350 of its with prizes ranging from mobile phones and fuel vouchers to school fees and shopping vouchers based on performance.

The awards ceremony, held at Bolt’s Driver Engagement Centre in Westlands, marked the culmination of the eight-week campaign designed to motivate drivers who consistently showcased exceptional service, customer satisfaction, and safety standards.

The initiative is part of Bolt’s broader Driver Reward Scheme, which aims to enhance driver engagement and recognize their contributions.Adega Murbe Onyango, Bolt’s Regional Marketing Manager Africa, expressed the company’s gratitude stating that the program will have far reaching effects on drivers’ motivation.

“Our driver-partners are more than just drivers; they are entrepreneurs, community leaders, and the face of our brand. Today, we celebrate their dedication, resilience, and the pivotal role they play in connecting people and places across Kenya,” he said.

Moses Muli, one of the top winners, shared the joy of his selection stating “Being recognized for my efforts means a lot to me. It’s a proud moment, not just for me but for my family.

This prize will help me improve my business and continue providing the best service to my passengers.

“Bolt asserted that it is ken on empowering its drivers through the “Drive for a Prize” campaign reflecting the company’s commitment to empowering its drivers, not just through financial incentives but by providing opportunities for personal and professional growth.
